Berner International Receives Award from Veterans of Foreign Wars
New Castle, PA – June 12, 2008 – The Department of Pennsylvania Veterans of Foreign Wars has selected Berner International Corporation, out of companies in 67 Pennsylvania counties, as its Small Employer of the Year. This prestigious award is given in recognition to the employer whose policies and achievements in the hiring of veterans are exemplary.

The Small Employer of the Year award was presented at Berner International on June 11, 2008, at 10:00 am by PA Veterans of Foreign Wars Senior Vice Commander Larry M. Wade and Local Veterans Employment Representative Gary A. Zarilla, Sr. Berner International’s President, Georgia Berner, accepted the award. This award is a special honor for Berner, as she is committed to the support of veterans and the growth and development of our local communities.
