Berner International Focuses on Increasing Production of Custom Units
Berner International, the first manufacturer of air doors in the United States, announces that they will continue to handcraft their products to fit each and any specific customer’s need. While, for many, mass production has become the norm in the manufacturing industry, Berner is focusing on increasing the number of custom air doors that they produce in 2008.
Berner catalogs over 406 different configurations of air doors. To ensure their units perform as stated, each air door is built by a Berner technician upon order. In addition to these cataloged items, Berner also does a large number of custom jobs, working with engineers and end-users to create the best possible product for their specific applications. Sales Manager, Michael Coscarelli, states, “It is very important to us that our customers realize the full protection and energy savings that our air doors provide. Each job is different, and we are more than happy to custom engineer our products with end-use in mind. We hope to continue to grow our custom business, the goal being that 35% of our jobs are custom orders in 2008.”
As the first U.S. manufacturer of air doors, Berner International is committed to helping customers save energy and create healthy, comfortable environments. An air door is a machine that creates a chemical-free, air seal across an opening, providing environmental separation, insect control and energy savings. Berner’s other product offerings include: air entrance systems, strip doors, and fabric ducts. For more information, call Berner at 1-800-245-4455 or visit www.berner.com.
