Berner International Offers EPH Certified Air Curtains
Berner’s E-Zone and K-Zone air doors offer affordable protection, and now, they are EPH certified to NSF/ANSI Standard 37. The presence of the EPH mark on food service equipment means that the equipment has been evaluated, tested, and certified to NSF ANSI Standard 37 as meeting international commercial food equipment standards. The E-Zone and K-Zone provide protection for food applications and are certified as an effective means to control flying insects.
The EPH certification that the E-Zone and K-Zone carries is a major asset to food service companies, as it makes for a more sanitary environment, in accordance to FDA recommendations, (The FDA recommends controlled air currents for insect control at all openings, and specifically recommends air curtains for loading dock and delivery doors). In addition to the new NSF/EPH ANSI Standard 37 certification, the E-Zone and K-Zone are now available in a white powder coated or stainless steel finish. It is 30-72” wide, EPH certified, and is UL listed for outdoor use. These features make the E-Zone and K-Zone ideal for Concession Stands and Drive-Up Windows.
