Commercial - Mark Models

  1. Is a disconnect switch available for Mark series air curtains?

    Yes, a disconnect switch may be installed on the top of the unit. The switch shall be a lockable, non-fused toggle disconnect.

  2. Why did we change to a ‡ hp three speed motor for the new Mark II air curtain?

    The additional speed provides a lower air velocity for customers. The three speed motors also improves the longevity of the motor.

  3. Can the Mark II be recessed above a drop or suspended ceiling?

    Yes, the Mark Series air curtains may be installed above a drop or suspended ceiling. A nozzle extension is often used with this application to give the appearance of a linear slot in the ceiling.

  4. Are control panels required for electric heated Mark units?

    No, control panels are not required as the switches are internally wired on all Mark Series air curtains. The standard rocker switch includes High/Medium/Low/Off fan controls and High/Medium/Low/Off heat controls.

  5. What voltages are available for Mark II electric heated air curtains and what voltage will the motor(s) be?

    208/240/1/60 motor and heater up to 48"
    208/240/3/60 heater and 208/240/1/60 motor up to 108"
    460/3/60 heater and 120/208/240/1/60 motor all models.

  6. If a Mark series air curtain is ordered with remote switching, is the standard unit mounted switch also included?

    No, standard rocker switches will not be installed on the bottom of the unit.
